Elchim Hair Dryer Reviews
Elchim hair dryers not only look stylish but inside the sleek casing you'll find the latest ionic technology that makes them what they are: some of the best hair dryers on the market today.
The company first began making styling tools in the 1940s and, right from the start, acquired a reputation as an innovator and maker of the best salon appliances. The current model range includes one or two dryers that every girl who takes her hair seriously should have.
Unless you've been under a rock you should have heard of ionic dryers and why they are so much better for your hair than the old fashioned non-ionic appliances that just blew out hot air. But, what you may not have heard is that there are two ways to produce negative ions; the spark method, used by the majority of manufacturers and continuous flow used by the better brands. All Elchim hair dryers employ a Negative Ion Generating System to produce ions that stay negatively charged, helping moisture to penetrate hair shafts, reduce drying time and reduce hair damage.
The Elchim 2001 hair dryer is one of the company's best sellers. It's a very nicely styled appliance that features a 1800 watt motor, 7 heat and speed settings and is of a lightweight design.
The Elchim Uragano hair dryer is encased in metallic taupe and was the winner of the Allure Best of Beauty Award 2 years in a row. You get two, very tapered, nozzles for pin-point styling as well as a 10 foot power cord. However, both the Uragano and the 2001 lack a cold-shot button. You may not need this feature so, if not, then either of these appliances will be perfect.
However, if, like me, you just have to have that cool burst, then you should take a look at the Elchim 5000 Da Vinci Hair Dryer. This appliance, really has it all: a big 2000 watt motor, an ergonomically designed handles incorporating soft-touch, anti-slip switches and is one of the most 'well-balanced' of dryers - making it less tiring to use.
The Galaxy is also worth taking a serious look at. Like the Uragano, it features a cold-shot button, but comes with a smaller motor making it a lighter appliance. Although it has a smaller motor, it does have 3 heat and 2 speed settings.
Of those discussed above, my personal preference is for the Da Vinci dryer, but whichever you choose, you can rest assured that you'll be buying one of the best ionic hair dryers on the market today.
